YPD.....Eyes on Tomorrow
A Typical Fourth Sunday @ SMAMEC
January 24, 2010

VIEW FROM MY PEW........

As I walked into the sanctuary, I noticed it right away!  The pulpit was filled with young men!  Wow!  What is Gina doing now?

The worship service was done by all young men and it was very impressive. ( I don't mean to imply that they did any preaching!)

The Young People's Usher Board serves on the fourth Sunday and that is where the girls assisted the young men.

I was thoroughly impressed.  You gotta come to SMAMEC and see how well the YPD "runs" the devotions.  They are excellent.  Mama Gina stands in the back, or sits in the choir loft, to the left, and beams.  She's great!

Let me tell you how "good" the YPD looks on this Sunday: The guys wear YPD forest green ties and the young ladies wear the YPD sashes.  All of them wear white on white tops with dark bottoms.  They are together! Those little ushers: you need to see them strut with the offering plates.

Other young men were taking care of the audio system.  Ben Robinson was on the drums!  Need I say more?
