Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Sigma Zeta Chapter of Morrisville, honored our own Deloriese as its 2011 Woman of the Year.
Mrs. Walker grew up in Raleigh and attended Washington High and NCCU. We know her as the chair of our Woman's Bible Study as well as the president of the Julia Holt Missionary Society. She is seen helping out everywhere.
Some things you may not know is that she is a talented ceramist, a practitioner of arts and crafts and a poet. You also may not know that she loves to fish.
In 2004, Deloriese relocated back to Raleigh and didn't let any grass grow under her feet. She's the St Matthew Missionary Society President, chair of the Martha McCauley Area, and third Veep of the WNCC Missionary Society.
