THE YOUTH CHOIR CELEBRATES 8 YEARS

On Saturday evening, September 12th, the Youth Choir and the Children's Choir celebrated their eighth anniversary. The beautiful children were elegantly attired and I'm sure made their parents very proud. As I sat watching the procession, I was thinking that very few churches anywhere have that many children. The directors of the Youth Choir are Mrs. Sandra Dunn and Mrs. Kathy Carr. Mrs Ophelia Mickens directs the Children's Choir. Mr. David Davis is the musician for both groups.
The one and only, the most dynamic YPD Director in the universe, was the Mistress of Ceremonies. The Combined SM choir performed until the grand march. Several Youth Choirs were invited and their musical selections were well-received.
Our hats are off to their directors who continuously do a fantastic job.
Refreshments were served following the concert.
