THE VIEW FROM MY PEW....
It was a wonderful evening.  The "months" arrived early to setup their tables to reflect their holidays and to display the most delicious food. July could have gotten a prize for the most creative outfits.  Our youngest month captain was Jaina King and our youngest presenter was Robert Yarbrough, Jr who reported for February. Everyone was wondering who would win the prize for the most money collected.  Well....it was May.

We played a game where we were to relate the names of candies to information read out. We had two young people at our table: Robert, Jr and Dee Anderson.  We don't eat much candy so we asked them to just start naming candies.  We were able to name 8 out of 10.

Coprecia Robinson was in charge and she did an outstanding job. We all felt great  and enjoyed the evening immensely. Our hats are off to the young people who participated.  I think they all got a candy bar. Over $1400 was raised for the Scholarship Fund.
